It would be cool if there was a setting or something that would show the "intended" towers after you beat a challenge so you know if it is cheese or not

I had a stroke reading the title

It makes the farm sell for 10% for 450 extra. The thing is, you also get the full sell back on the 450,thus you only spend effectively 68 money on the upgrade, which means that any farm sells for more (the minimum would then be 680 cash, for an profit of roughly 50 cash on a 0/0/0 )
(assuming monkey knowledge, without it you spend 90 and only make 30 cash)

for the first challenge, there is another combination possible: two 0-0-3 mortars, and a 5-2-0 tack shooter. with some good mortar micro, the i-ring can melt the ceramic bloons

@ISAB friendly reminder that I'm sure your vid title was meant to say "When Is This Upgrade *_Ever_* NOT Useful" instead of "Never", because it's a double negative the way it is, meaning you're calling it never useful ^^

you know i actually quite like the 002 upgrade and not collecting bananas its pretty good efficiency now
idk when but it got buffed from only giving 50%
since its 87.5% (seven eighths) its pretty close to normal efficiency and thats good enough for casual games

There is good reason why Banana Salvage is useful now that it grants bonus sellback for Farms. To profit from a Farm in the short-term via selling!

Um...Never not...the title means "when is this upgrade useful?" Which...is the exact opposite of what it's trying to convey.

My solution for the first challenge was:
0-4-0 Heli (chinook blowback, I tried two downdrafts and pursuit but 0-4-0 really is the best)
0-2-5 permaspike
I believe you can do it without adding a 2-0-0 village but the village helps and I used it which caps out all the tiers.
My solution for the third challenge was:
Place a 0-4-0 druid, place a 0-4-2 farm. Use all of the druid's abilities until you get the money then take the loan and sell the IMF loan. That gets you enough money, you can then buy 1-5-0 druid.
I did try the second one and ended up doing the same sort of strategy, including using 0-5-0 ninja to sabotage every single MOAB in 98 which means you can instantly tsar bomba them, but I didn't get much further than that because of the same issue getting 99's ability up. By the looks of ISAB's solution I wouldn't have made 100 with that strategy either. I tried first strike too but couldn't work it out, so props to ISAB on going through a 4-round challenge like that.

even with all this skill, he would probably still lose to half cash mode.
