AN UNEXPECTED TURN OF EVENTS In an unexpected turn of events, Leana finds herself imprisoned in a cell at the Gray Council Headquarters, falsely accused of a crime she did not commit; just when things between her and Valen were beginning to heat up. Unable to use her magic inside the secure walls, she feels alone and helpless. Whoever arranged to have her unjustly incarcerated, will likely make sure she is found guilty and condemned to languish in the infamous Witch prison for the rest of her life. Knowing our starlight heroine however, she is not about to let that deter her from formulating a plan to get out of there. She is aware of a sinister project to annihilate humans and is committed to stopping that crazy undertaking. How is she going to achieve this when she is in such a vulnerable position? Well, leave it up to our exceptionally imaginative author to give us the answer and resolve the situation with an ingenious storyline. Throw in a few unforeseen twists, some surprising cliff-hangers, mixed with stimulatingly descriptive word imagery, and we’ve got ourselves an action-packed thriller. Leana, Valen and their Twilight hotel friends with the help of a couple of surprising new characters will do what it takes to ensure that righteousness prevails. I love it when good triumphs over evil. Great ending! I am eager to begin Book 4.

Already the last book in the Witches of New York serie by Kim Richardson. Leana is in trouble, either she stay the rest of her life in a cell, with barely water and food, and no toilet and she really got to go or she do what Darius is asking her. Of course she takes it. With little to no clue, she must find the Jewel of the Sun. Should be simple, but someone is watching her in the shadows. And a stranger is in her appartement saying to be her father and asking her the take care of her little sister. Really simple. If she doesn't find the jewel in time she risk to lose a lot. I have so love this serie and all the characters. Looking foward to read the next book from that author. I have received an arc of this book from the author.

I'm wondering when the comedy starts The jewel was rather too obvious... Bellamy a waste... all the "da da daaa" jazz hands moments were too easily accepted and lack the reality of a true revelation... for one example, Dad and Shay's arrival, out of nowhere... it's impossible to believe that no one saw Darius' megalomania for two. Let's be honest those people are visible they prey on the uneducated, those who feel undervalued, they say one thing but don't follow their own rules, they believe themselves above it all and even though they prove their ignorance of the reality of life, the world and the law, on a daily basis the disaffected will always rise up failing to acknowledge that this "hero" is purely in it for their own personal gain... Darius could not possibly have got so far without others being aware that he's collecting followers... neither, quite frankly, could Adele in the book before this... so the plot doesn't follow... As for comedy... it's just not amusing. There's no witty repartee in here. We don't have a snarky heroine chucking out puns. Instead, we have a mostly, so far, neurotic woman in her forties who refers to her breasts as "the girls" like she's a 50 year old bachelor who's rarely seen a pair.

Wow!!! This book is full of revelations. Leana is arrested for murder and thrown in jail. When the evil Darius makes a deal, her freedom for her to find the Sun Jewel, Leana accepts her get out of jail free card. Can Leana figure out and expose Darius for the evil person he is and clear her name or will she die trying? This book was another action packed book in the series. Taking off from the very beginning it is full of raw emotions. Danger lurks around every corner and Leana faces whole new challenges. Of on her mission to save the paranormal community along with herself, Leana discovers that the truth is right under her nose. I am loving this series. The characters are fun. It is like a huge group of misfits forming an unusual , but caring family. It is full of adventures, danger and love. There are plenty of laughs and heated moments that will make you blush. I cannot wait to read more from the Witches of New York.

Add an unknown little sister into the mix Leana has been arrested for Adele's murder, thrown into a cell and left there for three days. Until Darius (yes, THE Darius) from the HTO with an offer from Leana's only chance for freedom. She reluctantly agrees without much of a choice and sets to work finding the Sun jewel. Arriving back at the hotel, she finds out Basil has not only fired her but replaced her already as well. Then things get really complicated.... This book and the two before were really great. I thoroughly enjoyed them and highly recommend both this book and the series. Waiting impatiently for the next book...

I am bummed that this is the last book in this series. I loved Valen and Leana and that it was still in the world of Witches of Hollows Cove (Merlins). There was a bit of a surprise in the middle of this and I will admit that I guessed the twist pretty early on, but still loved the book. It flowed pretty quick and before I knew it, I was at the end. Looking forward to what comes next from this author. I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of this book.

another great book in the series. Once again I really enjoyed the characters. Lots of new characters, some you love and some you hate. The descriptions make it so easy to visualize each character.
This is another edge of the seat nail biter. I stay up way too late reading “just one more chapter”. I love the suspense. There is plenty of humor to keep the intensity down a bit. Throw in a little romance and steamy scenes and I would say you have a perfect book.

Leana begins the story in jail but gets released to do a job for the Darius. And then the fun really begins. Lots of action, surprises, questing, great friends new characters and me glued to the end t see what craziness will show up and how Leana will some out on top this time. Loved it as all my favorites show up to help Leana as much as they can. Just another fun story in this series.

So much fun This was another incredible story. I love the development of characters and that Leana has found a sister she never knew before. Her family in both blood and friends continues to grow. I don't know if the series will continue but its been a fun and laugh out loud and touching ride.

Really nice series I enjoyed this series of books. I love Richardson's main characters, because they are strong, secure, mouthy women and I can relate to them. Lol. I think the world needs women like her heroines. So, I hope this inspires girls and women to speak their minds and find their happy endings, whatever they may be.

Amazing This book is so unique. I can't believe all these different characters and how they weave in and out and come back with completely different avenues of what would be expected

Another outstanding series installment This is a delightful world with intrigue and mystery but best of all magic! Actually, on second thought, love is the best. Sisterly love, familiy love, and romatic love intertwine into a rich magical story that is deeply satisfying.

Book 3 Having devoured books 1 and 2, book 3 was just as enticing! The trauma of being accused of murder and subsequent incarceration only leaves our "Merlin" more determined to clear her name. Boy, did she get more than she ever would have thought she'd acquire!
