Fortunately, everyone being stuck at home and bored out of their minds has led to a boom time for online learning: Udemy held a flash sale at the end of March (which appears to be extended through midnight tonight), while MasterClass is offering a BOGO deal for annual subscribers. And now, as of April 3, Skillshare is entering the fray with a promotion for new users where you can get your first two months of Skillshare Premium for free (normally $19 a month).

Skillshare is sort of like a Netflix for online learning in that subscribers get on-demand access to its library of courses and workshops, which are led by people who are experts in their respective fields. It's technically free to use, but your course options are limited as a non-paying member — plus, you have to put up with ads.

With a Skillshare Premium plan, you'll enjoy unlimited, ad-free access to the platform's entire catalog of classes — there are tens of thousands of them to choose from, covering everything from character animation to e-commerce to houseplant care. You'll also unlock the ability to download courses to the Skillshare mobile app for offline viewing, which means you can take your learning on the go once social distancing is no longer necessary.
